Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky Commerce Seaport (Ukrainian: Білгород-Дністровський Морський Торговельний Порт) is a port in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, Ukraine. It is located on the north-western shore of Black Sea at Dniester Estuary, to the south-west from Odessa. Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky Seaport is mainly a freight seaport. The port covers some 64.5 thousands hectares. Port also has a special port "Buhaz" with a single pier.

Shabo, Odessa Oblast

Shabo (Шабо, Romanian Şaba, population 7,100) is a town of the Odessa Oblast, Ukraine, situated at the Dniester Liman, some 7 km downstream of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. The Tatar village was established ca. 1500, called Acha-abag "the lower vineyards" (attested 1788). The name was subsequently simplified to Shabag and finally to Shaba / Shabo. After the conquest of Bessarabia by the Russian Empire, the region suffered a population drain to the Ottoman Empire.

Zatoka, Odessa Oblast

This article is about the town of Zatoka, Odessa Oblast. For the town of Zatoka in Poland, see: Zatoka, Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Zatoka is an urban-type settlement in southwestern Ukraine. It is administratively part of the port-city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. The town is a local beach resort and contains a small port of Buhaz. It is located 60 km from Odessa and 18 km from the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi of Odessa Oblast in the historical region of Budjak, southern Bessarabia.

Dniester Liman

Dniester Estuary, or Dniester Liman is a liman, formed at the point where the river Dniester flows into the Black Sea. It is located in Ukraine, in Odessa Oblast. The city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi lies on its western shore and Ovidiopol on its eastern shore. Shabo, situated downstream of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, is known for its wine. The estuary hosts the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky Seaport. The area of the liman varies between 360 and 408 km², it is 42,5 km long and has maximum width of 12 km.

Sukhyi Liman

Sukhyi Estuary, or Sukhyi Liman (Ukrainian: Сухий лиман - dried estuary), is on open estuary in the north-western Black Sea, near the cities of Odessa and Illichivsk, Ukraine. In 1957 the estuary was connected to the sea via 14-m depth navigation canal, therefore the water body de facto transformed to the marine bay. Upper site of the estuary is more shallow, up to 1.5 m depth. Northern and western parts are separated by artificial dam and transformed to fresh water ponds.
