Tomashpil (Ukrainian: Томашпіль, literally "the city of St Thomas", Polish: Tomaszpol, Russian: Томашполь is a small Ukrainian town in the eastern part of Podolian highlands, in the Vinnytsia region of Central Ukraine. Vapniarka

Vapniarka, also known as Vapniarca, Vapnyarka, Wapnjarka or Wapniarka, is a town in Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine, known since 1870 as a railroad station. Its name from the Ukrainian language translates as a lime settlement. As of 2005, its population is 8,600. During World War II, following the start of Operation Barbarossa, Vapniarka was administered by Romania.
