Mikhaylivka, Ukraine

Mikhaylivka is a village in the Vinnytsia Raion of the Vinnytsia Oblast of Ukraine. The area is 2.184 km² and the population (2001 census) is 906 ihhabitants. The village was founded in 1510. On 30 April 1831, during November Uprising captain Kurowski has won a battle against a Russian squadron from Machnówka. Komsomolske, Vinnytsia Oblast

Makhnovka (Komsomolske) is a village in the Kozyatynskyi Raion of the Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine, located on the Kremenchuk Reservoir, along the west bank of the Gnilopyat River. The town is near a wide spot in the river, where several small streams feed into it from both sides. Makhnovka is in western Ukraine, 13 miles SSE of Berdychev, 96 miles SW of Kiev.
