Ozerne (air base)
Ozerne is an air base in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine located 11 km southeast of Zhytomyr. The facility has angled taxiways, ramp space, and over 30 large revetments consistent with a bomber base. 15th Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Division was stationed at the base from 1945 to 1994. In 1965 Ozernoye began receiving Tupolev Tu-22 (Blinder) aircraft. By 1967 it had 31 Tu-22 aircraft, and in 1968 it received Tu-22PD aircraft.

Tereschenko Palace
Tereschenko Palace is a palace, now a school, in Andrushivka, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. It was built in 1871 by Artemiy Tereshchenko, a sugar baron from the wealthy Tereshchenko family of entrepreneurs who ran the Andrushivka Sugar Factory. It is a brick palace set in a park, built in the style of French Neo-renaissance. On 25 January 1919 a meeting was held here by the Volyn Revolutionary Committee, and in June 1920 in these walls housed the headquarters of the First Mounted Army.
