A3400 road

The A3400 is the former A34 road in the Midlands of England, running from Hockley Heath to a junction with the A44 near Chipping Norton. At its northern end it joins up with the A34, of which it was originally one section. At its southern end it joins the A44, passing through Woodstock and joining the A34 at the Pear Tree Roundabout.

Bearley railway station

Bearley railway station serves the village of Bearley in south Warwickshire, England. Once a junction station (a branch line to Alcester met the Stratford-upon-Avon to Hatton line here), today it is an unstaffed rural halt, managed by London Midland although Chiltern Railways provides most of the train services. There is only one London Midland train daily and this is Southbound only in the Morning Peak on Monday-Friday Only. There is no Sunday service.

Edstone aqueduct

Edstone Aqueduct is one of three aqueducts on a 4 miles length of the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal in Warwickshire. All are unusual in that the towpaths are at the level of the canal bottom. At 475 feet, Edstone is the longest aqueduct in England. It crosses a minor road, the Birmingham and North Warwickshire railway and also the trackbed of the former Alcester Railway. There was once a pipe from the side of the canal that enabled locomotives to draw water to fill the loco's tank.

Wolverton, Warwickshire

Wolverton is a village in Warwickshire, England. It is in Stratford-on-Avon District. It was known as Wolverdington until the middle of the 19th century. There is a parish church dedicated to St Mary, the oldest part of which dates from the 13th century. It is accessible only by a path as it is set back from the road. Wolverton was the birthplace on 18 March 1621 of the naval chaplain Henry Teonge, who kept interesting diaries of two Mediterranean voyages he made in 1675–76 and 1678–79.
