Dunnamore

Dunnamore (formerly spelt Donamore; from Irish: Domhnach Mór, meaning "great church") is a village and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is near the main A505 road between Omagh and Cookstown. There is a stone circle within two miles of the village centre.

Teebane bombing

The Teebane bombing (or Teebane Massacre) took place on 17 January 1992 at a rural crossroads between Omagh and Cookstown in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. A roadside bomb destroyed a van carrying 14 construction workers who had been repairing a British Army base in Omagh. Eight of the men were killed and the rest were wounded.
