Greencastle, County Tyrone

Greencastle is a hamlet in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is within the townland of Sheskinshule . The village sits at a crossroads in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains with the Owenkillew and Owenreagh rivers running nearby. It had a population of 153 people in the 2001 Census. Greencastle is part of the Omagh District Council area. The local pub, Eddie's Crossroad, won UK Community Pub of the Year award in 1997.

St. Patrick's, Greencastle (Irish: Naomh Pádraig, An Caisleán Glas) are a Gaelic football Club from Greencastle, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The club was founded in 1932, under the name Greencastle Erin's Hope. Greencastle are Tyrone GAA Division 3 and Junior football champions of 2006. They are also Ulster Junior Club Football Championship winners of 2006. They were also the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship winners in 2007.

Black Bog

Black Bog is a raised bog in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, situated about 17km west of Cookstown. It is one of the two largest intact active bogs in Northern Ireland with hummock and hollow pool complexes and represents one of the best examples of this habitat type in the United Kingdom.

Creggan (Irish: creagan . is a townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the historic barony of Omagh East and the civil parish of Termonmaguirk and covers an area of 4022 acres. Popular places of tourist interest include the An Creagán centre, located three miles north of Carrickmore on the main Cookstown to Omagh road. Tourists are drawn to the old-fashioned cottages located near the An Creagán centre.

A505 road (Ireland)

The A505 is an east-west route in County Tyrone, in Northern Ireland. It starts in Omagh, the county town, from where it goes in the direction of Cookstown in the east of the county. The road passes Killyclogher, Mountfield, Creggan, Dunnamore, and Kildress. The route traverses the southern are of the Sperrin Mountains. It serves much of the rural community of the locality, as well as An Creagán cultural centre, Dunnamore stone circles, Wellbrook Beetling Mill, and Drum Monor Forest Park.
