Bromley Cross railway station

Bromley Cross railway station, situated in Bromley Cross, a suburb to the north of Bolton, England, is served by the Northern Rail 'Ribble Valley' line 2+⁄4 miles north of Bolton. The station is just south of the point where the double line merges into one. The single line continues through Entwistle station towards Blackburn with a passing loop at Darwen station.

Eagley F.C

Eagley F.C. is an association football club based in the village of Eagley, near Bolton in Greater Manchester. It is a member of the Lancashire Football Association, and in the 2012–13 season its senior team is playing in the West Lancashire League Premier Division, the 11th level of the English football league system. Eagley plays its home games at the Dunscar Sports Complex, which is also home to Eagley Cricket Club and Eagley Tennis Club.

Hall i' th' Wood railway station

Hall i' th' Wood railway station is the last stop before Bolton on the Northern Rail franchise's Ribble Valley Line line into Blackburn and Clitheroe in England. The station opened on 29 September 1986. It is located in the middle of a housing estate and forms an unofficial footpath between the two sides. In March 2008 work began on a new car park for the station. The name is not a misprint - generations of local accents and dialects have ensured Hall i' th' Wood maintains its local spelling.

Turton Urban District

Turton was a township and later civil parish and local government district in Lancashire, England. Its former area is now divided between two local authorities. North Turton is part of the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen, and South Turton is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton. Although no longer used as an administrative area, Turton is still used as an historical area.

Horrocks Fold

Horrocks Fold is a hamlet in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England to the south of Belmont, Lancashire. It is situated on the southern slopes of the West Pennine Moors north of Smithills Hall. Originally a farm and collection of barns and outbuildings, the site was converted to private residences in the early 1980s. Historically a part of Lancashire, Horrocks Fold is located up an unadopted lane off Belmont Road.
