Wharfedale is a ward in the north east of the City of Bradford metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire, England and is situated in the Upper Wharfedale (which the ward is named after) one of the Yorkshire dales. It consists of the settlements of Burley-in-Wharfedale, Burley Woodhead and Menston along with surrounding moorland.

Denton Hall, Wharfedale

Denton Hall is an English country house located to the north of the River Wharfe, at Denton between Otley and Ilkley in North Yorkshire, England, and set within a larger Denton estate of about 2,500 acres, including a village, church, and landscaped gardens. The current hall dates to the 1770s, with a cited completion date of 1778. It was designed and the construction overseen by John Carr, for Sir James Ibbetson, 2nd Bart.

High Royds Hospital

High Royds Hospital is a former psychiatric hospital south of the village of Menston, West Yorkshire, England. The hospital is located within in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough and was first opened on 8 October 1888 as the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum. The hospital closed in 2003.
