Denny Abbey

Denny Abbey is a former abbey near Waterbeach, six miles (10 km) north of Cambridge in Cambridgeshire, England which was inhabited by a succession of three different religious orders during its history serving as a monastery. Northstowe is a proposed new town of 9,500 houses in Cambridgeshire, UK. It is expected to be "an exemplar of sustainability in the use of renewable energy resources and reducing carbon emissions". The Northstowe site is located eight kilometres northwest of the city of Cambridge, between the villages of Oakington and Longstanton and inside the administrative district of South Cambridgeshire.

Oakington Immigration Reception Centre

Oakington Immigration Reception Centre was an immigration detention centre located in Cambridgeshire run by the UK Border Agency. Originally a World War II airfield, RAF Oakington was used by Bomber Command flying Short Stirling aircraft. The base contracted after the war, and much evidence of its former presence is visible in farmland surrounding the current perimeter. It was used for flight training until the 1970s, and then became a barracks.

Histon F.C

Histon Football Club is an English football club based in the twin villages of Histon and Impington, approximately 3 miles north of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. From the 2007–08 season they competed in the Conference National, the highest level that the club has ever reached in the English football league system, before being relegated to Conference North at the end of the 2010–11 season. Nacer Relizani is currently the interim-manager, with Brian Page assisting him as first team coach.

Bridge Road, Impington

Bridge Road, also known as the Glassworld Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is a football stadium in Impington, a small village connected to Histon in Cambridgeshire. The ground is owned by a trust called Histon Football Club Holdings, who guarantee the use of the facility for sports purposes. Histon F.C. rent the ground from the trust for free. It is the home ground of Histon F.C. and has a capacity of 4,300 with approximately 1,700 covered seats.
