Coughton Court

Coughton Court is an English Tudor country house, situated on the main road between Studley and Alcester in Warwickshire. It is a Grade I listed building. The house has a long crenelated façade directly facing the main road, at the centre of which is the Tudor Gatehouse, dating from 1530, this has hexagonal turrets and oriel windows in the English Renaissance style.

Alcester Abbey

Alcester Abbey was a Benedictine monastery in Alcester, Warwickshire in England. The abbey was founded 1138 by the Botellers of Oversley, Warwickshire. The Abbey's many endowments included the Chapel of St. James and St. Peter, near Shaftesbury, Dorset, and the manor of Blynfield in the parish of St. James, which is known as the 'Manor of Alcester and Bec', together with a number of other churches and estates. In 1536 the ownership of the abbey was transferred to Thomas Cromwell.

Kinwarton Dovecote

Kinwarton Dovecote is circular 14th-century dovecote situated in Kinwarton, near Alcester, Warwickshire, England. The dovecote is in the ownership of the National Trust. The building still houses doves to this day and is noted for its "potence" which provides access to the nesting boxes.
