Darwen railway station

Darwen railway station serves Darwen, a town in Lancashire, England. It was opened in 1847 by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway. It is now served by Northern Rail services on the Ribble Valley Line from Manchester Victoria/Bolton to Blackburn and into Clitheroe. The station is 4+⁄4 miles south of Blackburn and has two platforms.

Darwen Library Theatre

The Darwen Library Theatre is located in Darwen, near Blackburn, Lancashire, England. It is an extension to Darwen Library, hence the name. Jubilee Tower

The octagonal Jubilee Tower (generally called Darwen Tower) at grid reference SD678215 on Darwen Hill overlooking the town of Darwen in Lancashire, England, was completed in 1898 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and also to celebrate the victory of the local people for the right to access the moor. It was opened to the public on 24 September 1898.
