Calvert railway station

Calvert was a railway station at Calvert, Buckinghamshire on the former Great Central Main Line between Manchester Piccadilly and London Marylebone. The station was opened in 1899 and closed in 1964. The line through it remains open for freight, including waste to a landfill site.

Wotton House

Wotton House, or Wotton, in Wotton Underwood (Buckinghamshire, UK), was built between 1704 and 1714, to a design very similar to that of the contemporary version of Buckingham House. The house is an example of English Baroque and a Grade I listed building. The grounds were laid out by London & Wise with a formal parterre and a double elm avenue leading down to a lake.

RAF Westcott

RAF Westcott was a World War II Royal Air Force station in Buckinghamshire. It was used by 11 OTU (Operational Training Unit) during the war, along with its satellite station RAF Oakley. RAF Westcott opened in September 1942 with crews using Wellington bombers for training. Many of these crews saw active service in Lancaster bombers in the fierce aerial campaign waged by RAF Bomber Command over occupied Europe.
