Gouthwaite Reservoir is a reservoir in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, England. It is one of many in the area, others include Roundhill Reservoir and Angram Reservoir. Gouthwaite's sole purpose is a compensation reservoir for the River Nidd, i.e. it maintains the downstream flow of the river during periods of lower rainfall.

Stonebeck Down

Stonebeck Down is a civil parish in Harrogate district, North Yorkshire, England. Historically it was a township in the ancient parish of Kirkby Malzeard in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It became a separate civil parish in 1866, and was transferred from the West Riding to North Yorkshire in 1974. The main settlements in the parish are the village of Ramsgill and the hamlets of Stean and Heathfield. The parish occupies the west side of upper Nidderdale.

The Nidderdale Museum is housed in a former workhouse in the market town of Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, England. Exhibits focus on rural life and include such period room and business displays as a cobbler's workshop, schoolroom, Victorian parlour, general store, 1930s hairdresser's shop and a kitchen. Other displays include historic costumes, agriculture tools and equipment, local industries and transport vehicles.
