RAF Skipton-on-Swale
RAF Skipton-on-Swale was a Royal Air Force air station operated by RAF Bomber Command during the Second World War. The station was located at Skipton-on-Swale four miles west of Thirsk (near the present-day junction of the A61 and A167), North Yorkshire, England. The village of Sandhutton is located just to the east. RAF Skipton-on-Swale was a sub-station of RAF Leeming.

Wath Rural District
Wath Rural District was a rural district in the North Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974. It was created in 1894 from that part of the Ripon rural sanitary district which was in the North Riding It was named after the village of Wath. In 1974 it was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972. Since then it has formed part of the district of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
