Wennington railway station

Wennington railway station serves the village of Wennington in Lancashire, England. It is situated on the Leeds to Morecambe Line and operated by Northern Rail, who provide all passenger train services. Originally opened by the Little North Western Railway in 1850 on their line between Skipton and Morecambe, the station was rebuilt & expanded in 1865 prior to the opening of the Furness and Midland Joint Railway from Carnforth in 1867.

River Hindburn

The River Hindburn is a river in Lancashire, England. The Hindburn rises at Thrushgill where three smaller streams (namely Whitray Beck, Middle Gill and Dale Beck) combine. The river proceeds northwards past Low Gill to Wray, where it merges with the River Roeburn, before carrying on to meet the River Wenning in Hornby Park.
