Kirkby Lonsdale
Kirkby Lonsdale is a small town and civil parish in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, England, on the River Lune. Historically within Westmorland, it is situated 13 miles south east of Kendal along the A65. The parish had a population of 1,771 recorded in the 2001 census. Notable buildings include St Mary's Church, a Norman structure with fine carved columns.

Barbon Beck
Barbon Beck is a small river in Cumbria. Rising at Weather Ling Hill, where it is known as Barkin Beck, the stream passes southwest down Barbondale to Fell House, where, joined by Aygill (itself fed by Hazel Sike, which, like Aygill, rises on Barbon High Fell) and now known as Barbon Beck, it takes a westerly course, past Barbon Manor and through the village of Barbon and under the A683 road.

Nether Burrow
Nether Burrow is a small hamlet in the Lunesdale Valley of North Lancashire. It is a small drive through settlement on the banks of the picturesque River Lune. There is not much there but there is a pub called the Highwayman Inn. It is on the A683 road between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale. It forms part of the civil parish with the unusual name of Burrow-with-Burrow.

Leck Beck
Leck Beck is a watercourse in Lancashire with its source on Crag Hill in Cumbria between Leck Fell and Casterton Fell. For several kilometres near the start of its course, the water flows into the Easegill Cave System, the longest cave system in Britain (and 11th longest in the world) via 14 major sink holes to converge at a major spring at Leck Beck Head.
