Ridge Hill transmitting station
The Ridge Hill transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility located 8.5 miles SE of Hereford in Herefordshire, and close to the border of Gloucestershire. The station transmits the full complement of digital terrestrial multiplexes and an additional ITV West Multiplex. It includes a cable stayed steel lattice mast which has a height of 164.6 metres, which in addition to the altitude of the site gives an aerial height of 363 metres above mean sea level.

Fownhope is a village in Herefordshire, England, an area of outstanding natural beauty on the banks of the River Wye. The village has a church, primary school, medical centre, two pubs, two hotels, a fitness/leisure centre, butchers, forge and a hairdressers. Brockhampton-by-Ross
Brockhampton is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 241. The village is near the River Wye and lies between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, and close to Ledbury. The Wye Valley Walk passes through Brockhampton. The village forms part of the Old Gore ward of Herefordshire Council (and prior to 2003 was in the Backbury ward). Prior to 1998 it had been part of the district of South Herefordshire in Hereford and Worcester.
