River Dulnain
The River Dulnain is a major left bank tributary of the River Spey in northeast Scotland. It rises in the eastern part of the Monadhliath Mountains and flows in a generally northeastward direction through uninhabited country to Sluggan, where it is crossed by a high stone arch bridge constructed by General Wade to carry a military road. (The route now forms a part of Route 7 of the National Cycle Network.

Dunmaglass, Scotland
Dunmaglass is a shooting estate of about 14,000 acres in the Monadhliath Mountains of Scotland. It is located around 15 miles south of Inverness. It is currently owned by property developer Sir Jack Arnold Hayward, former chairman of Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. Dunmaglass is known for shooting of pheasant, grouse, duck and sometimes hare. Dunmaglass is also the historical seat of Clan MacGillivray.

Loch Killin
Loch Killin is a small loch in the Monadhliath Mountains, in Highland, Scotland. It is about 1.2 miles long, and is one of numerous small lochs close to the southern end of Loch Ness, the southernmost point of which lies nine miles to the west. The waters of Loch Killin are home to the Haddy charr, a species of char named after this loch. It is endemic to this lake as well as Loch Doine, and possibly Loch Builg. The ship HMS Loch Killin was named after the loch.

Stratherrick
Stratherrick (Scottish Gaelic: Srath Fhairgeag / Srath Fharragaig) is a strath situated above the south-eastern shore of Loch Ness, in the Scottish Highlands, Scotland. Much of the strath is covered by Loch Mhòr. This is a generally shallow loch, which acts as a reservoir for the Foyers hydro electricity scheme. The area has a number of small settlements, these include Whitebridge, Gorthleck, Aberchalder and Errogie. Stratherrick Primary School is in Gorthleck.
