Dale is a small village and community in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, located on the Dale Peninsula which forms the northern side of the entrance to Milford Haven estuary. The village has 205 inhabitants according to the 2001 census.

Dale Fort

Dale Fort is a battery site to the West of Milford Haven, Wales. Occupied from Elizabethan times to the present day, the main buildings were built for the military protection of Milford Haven in the 1850s, but the most unusual feature is its use for trials of Edmund Zalinski's Pneumatic Dynamite Gun in the 1890s. The West Wales Field Society purchased Dale Fort for £6000 in 1946 which it leased to the Council for the Promotion of Field Studies in August.

Marloes

Marloes is a village in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. It is situated on the Marloes Peninsula 7 miles (11 km) west of the port of Milford Haven and forms the westernmost tip of the southern shore of St Brides Bay. It is within part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The parish has 6 miles (10 km) of mainland coastline accessible throughout by the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

St. Ann's Head Lighthouse

St. Ann's Head Lighthouse is a Lighthouse that overlooks the entrance to the Milford Haven waterway, one of Britain's deep water harbours, from St. Ann's Head near Dale in West Wales. The lighthouse is intended to guide ships around a number of rocky shoals that cause a hazard to shipping entering the Haven as well as Crow's rock. MV Sea Empress

The MV Sea Empress was a single-hull oil tanker that ran aground near the southwest coast of Wales in February 1996. The ensuing oil spill affected a considerable area of nearby coastline. Pembrokeshire was suffering for over a year after the incident. Most of the birds in the area died and the oil made tourist-dependable beaches very ugly and black.
