Llanbadrig

Llanbadrig is a parish in the cwmwd of Talybolion, on the island of Anglesey, north Wales. The parish includes the township of Clygyrog and the little port of Cemaes (pronounced "Kem-ice"). The region has extensive quarries of limestone and marble. The Welsh name Llanbadrig means "Church of Saint Patrick" and there is indeed a Church of St. Patrick on the coast near Cemaes. It is said to have been founded in 440CE by St Patrick himself.

Cemais (Anglesey)

Cemais was one of the three medieval cantrefs on the island of Anglesey, north Wales, in the Kingdom of Gwynedd. It lay on the northern side of the island on the Irish Sea. The cantref consisted of the two cwmwds of Talybolion and Twrcelyn.

Middle Mouse

Middle Mouse (Welsh: Ynys Badrig - Patrick's island) is an uninhabited island situated 1 kilometre off the north coast of Anglesey. It is notable as the northernmost point of Wales. The island measures a maximum of 207 metres by 110 metres, with a maximum area of 3.7 acres and has a maximum altitude of 16 metres above sea level. It is one of a chain of three islands off the north of Anglesey, the others being West Mouse and East Mouse.
