Carreg yr Imbill
Carreg yr Imbill—in English Gimlet Rock or sometimes Gimblet Rock—is the remains of a large granite outcrop and quarry at Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales. The granite was mined by the Liverpool and Pwllheli Granite Company (sometimes known as the Pwllheli Granite Company), which used the granite for stone setts to pave the streets. The worked out quarry forms the basis for a large caravan park.

Plas Bodegroes
Plas Bodegroes is a former country house, located near Pwllheli, Gwynedd. The Grade2 listed Georgian country house stands in its own grounds on the Llŷn peninsula, in the far north west of Wales. Owned by Chris and Gunna Chown since 1986, it was until 2006 Wales only Michelin Starred restaurant, and the only 5-star rated restaurant with a hotel in Wales; in 2009 it lost its Michelin-star.

Dwyfor
Dwyfor was one of the five local government districts of Gwynedd, Wales from 1974 to 1996, covering the Llŷn peninsula. Its council was based in Pwllheli. It was formed on 1 April 1974 as a successor to the borough of Pwllheli, the urban districts of Criccieth and Porthmadog, along with Llŷn Rural District, and part of Gwyrfai Rural District, all previously in the administrative county of Caernarfonshire. It was named after the river Dwyfor.

RAF Penrhos
RAF Penrhos was a World War II Royal Air Force airfield at Penrhos, on the Llŷn Peninsula near Pwllheli, Gwynedd. It was operational from 1 February 1937 to 21 October 1946 for armarment training, air observer, bombing and gunnery schools.
