Poston, Arizona

Poston is a census-designated place (CDP) in La Paz County, Arizona, United States, in Parker Valley. The population was 389 at the 2000 census. During World War II, Poston was the site of the Poston War Relocation Center, which was one of the United States' largest Japanese internment camps, where over 17,000 Japanese-Americans were held over a three-year period. The camp sites are now home to a monument dedicated to those interned there.

Colorado River Indian Reservation

The Colorado River Indian Reservation is an indian reservation in the southwest United States. It lies in western La Paz County, Arizona, southeastern San Bernardino County, California, and northeastern Riverside County, California. It has a total land area of 432.22 square miles, and most of it lies within Parker Valley. It also borders the Palo Verde Valley in the southwest boundaries. Tribal headquarters are in Parker, the reservation's largest community.

River Bend Lodge, California

River Bend Lodge is an unincorporated community in Riverside County, California, also known as Aha Quin. The community is near Hall Island along the Colorado River and hosts Riverside County Fire Department, Station 46. River Bend Lodge is also inside the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District. This community is part of the Colorado River Indian Reservation (USGS feature 22753). The reservation was established on March 3, 1865.
