Lake Palmdale

Lake Palmdale is an artificial lake completed in 1924 along with the nearby Littlerock Reservoir and the Littlerock Dam. It is part of the California State Water Project and is fed by the California Aqueduct. It is located in the city of Palmdale near the city's southern edge, in the small Anaverde Valley between the San Andreas Fault and the base of Mount Tenhi.

Palmdale, California

Palmdale is a city located in the center of northern Los Angeles County, California, United States. Palmdale was the first community within the Antelope Valley to incorporate as a city on August 24, 1962; 47 years later, in November 2009, voters approved creating a charter city. Palmdale is separated from Los Angeles by the San Gabriel Mountain range. Palmdale's population was 152,750 at the 2010 census, up from 116,670 as of the 2000 census.

Vincent Grade/Acton (Metrolink station)

The Vincent Grade/Acton Metrolink Station is a Metrolink rail station in the community of Acton, California. It is served by Metrolink's Antelope Valley Line from Los Angeles Union Station to Lancaster. Eighteen Metrolink trains serve the station each weekday, eleven serve the station on Saturdays (five southbound, six northbound), and six trains on Sundays.

Palmdale Transportation Center

The Palmdale Transportation Center is a multi-modal transportation center featuring a Metrolink rail station, a local bus hub, and commuter bus hub, in the city of Palmdale, California. The center which was completely rebuilt in April 2005 and it now features a "clock tower plaza" which has an enclosed waiting room with concessions and vending, public telephone, restrooms, a bus pass sales office, and security service.
