Pete Knight High School

Knight High School is located in Palmdale, California and is part of the Antelope Valley Union High School District. Knight High was the 7th general education school to join the district. The high school opened its doors to freshmen in August 2003 and these same freshmen were the first class to graduate, graduating on May 31, 2007. The high school was named after test pilot and politician William Joseph "Pete" Knight.

Palmdale, California

Palmdale is a city located in the center of northern Los Angeles County, California, United States. Palmdale was the first community within the Antelope Valley to incorporate as a city on August 24, 1962; 47 years later, in November 2009, voters approved creating a charter city. Palmdale is separated from Los Angeles by the San Gabriel Mountain range. Palmdale's population was 152,750 at the 2010 census, up from 116,670 as of the 2000 census.

St. Andrew's Abbey

St. Andrew's Abbey is a male Benedictine monastery of the Congregation of the Annunciation located in Valyermo, California. In 1929, St. Andrew's Abbey in Bruges, Belgium founded St. Andrew's Priory in China and until 1953, the monks of the Priory conducted missionary work among the people of China. In 1953, the Communists expelled all foreign priests as well as all religious brothers and sisters.
