Hotel del Coronado

Hotel del Coronado (also known as The Del and Hotel Del) is a beachfront luxury hotel in the city of Coronado, just across the San Diego Bay from San Diego, California. It is one of the few surviving examples of an American architectural genre: the wooden Victorian beach resort. It is one of the oldest and largest all-wooden buildings in California and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977, and is a designated California Historical Landmark.

Coronado High School (Coronado, California)

Coronado High School (CHS) is a National Blue Ribbon high school in Coronado, California. The school was founded in 1913 and is the only high school in the Coronado Unified School District. In 2008, the school was named a National Blue Ribbon School. CHS was the only school in San Diego County to win the award. In 2008, CHS was ranked 323rd in Newsweek's list of "Best High Schools", out of more than 27,000 public high schools. It was awarded the New American High Schools designation in 1998.

Naval Amphibious Base Coronado

Naval Amphibious Base Coronado (NAB Coronado) is a naval installation located across the bay from San Diego, California. The base, situated on Silver Strand, between San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean, is a major Navy shore command, supporting over 30 tenant commands, and is the West Coast focal point for special and expeditionary warfare training and operations. The on base population is 5,000 military personnel and 7,000 students and reservists.
