1971 San Fernando earthquake

The 1971 San Fernando earthquake (also known as the Sylmar earthquake) struck the San Fernando Valley near Sylmar, California at 6:00:41 am PST on February 9, 1971, with a magnitude of 6.6. The earthquake lasted approximately 60 seconds and caused 65 fatalities. There are various names for this earthquake. The USGS and seismologists call it the San Fernando earthquake.

KHTS (AM)

KHTS is an AM radio station in Santa Clarita, California, about 30 miles north of Los Angeles. It is owned by Jeri Lyn Broadcasting (formerly Sattleback Broadcasting). It broadcasts at the frequency of 1220 kHz with 1000 watts during the daytime and 500 watts at night. The station is nicknamed Your Hometown Station. The broadcast day consists of a combination of local talk shows and time-brokered programs.

Wipeout (2008 U.S. game show)

Wipeout is a reality game show series in which contestants compete in what is billed as the "world's largest obstacle course". Wipeout is hosted and commentated by John Henson and John Anderson, while Vanessa Lachey acts as the "on-location" presenter. The former presenter was Jill Wagner, but it is said that Jill is returning to Wipeout in Season 6. The creators and executive producers are Matt Kunitz and Scott Larsen. Distribution of the show is handled by Endemol USA.

Vasquez Rocks

Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park is a 905-acre (3 km²) park located in the Sierra Pelona Mountains, in northern Los Angeles County, California. It is in the Agua Dulce vicinity between the Antelope Valley and the Santa Clarita Valley north of Los Angeles and seen easily by motorists driving the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA 14).
