Yorkville, California

Yorkville is an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, California. It is located 7.5 miles southwest of Hopland, at an elevation of 922 feet (281 m). The original townsite was about 3 miles (5 km) northwest of the present site at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|54|50|N|123|15|40|W| | |name= }}. The Yorkville post office opened in 1868 and moved to the new site with the town in 1937.

Anderson, Mendocino County, California

Anderson is a former settlement in Mendocino County, California. It was located in the Anderson Valley about 1 mile northwest of Boonville. The town had a store, hotel, and blacksmith. A post office operated at Anderson from 1858 to 1875 when service was transferred to Boonville. The name honored Walter Anderson who settled the place in 1851.

Rockpile AVA

Rockpile AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in Sonoma County, California, northwest of the town of Healdsburg. Established on February 28, 2002, Rockpile AVA was Sonoma County's twelfth designated wine appellation. The wine region consists of approximately 15,400 acres in northwestern Sonoma County. All of the AVA has an elevation in excess of 800 feet above sea level. Eleven vineyards are currently located within the AVA and there are approximately 160 acres of planted wine grapes.
