Oleander is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California. It is located 9 miles south-southeast of downtown Fresno, at an elevation of 285 feet (87 m). A post office operated at Oleander from 1881 to 1935, moving in 1899. The name honors its first postmaster, William Oleander Johnson.

KALZ (96.7 FM, "Power Talk 96.7") is a commercial radio station located in Fowler, California, broadcasting to the Fresno, California, area. KALZ airs a talk radio format. Initially, the station broadcast on 102.7 MHz from 1998 to early 2006. Before switching to its current format,the station was known as "Smooth Jazz 96.7" (KEZL); that format was used on KJZN (105.5 FM). KALZ changed to Power Talk 96.7 on January 1, 2013.
