Van Nuys (train station)

The Van Nuys Amtrak/Metrolink Station is an Amtrak and Metrolink rail station in the community of Van Nuys in Los Angeles, California. The station is served by Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, Amtrak's Coast Starlight from Los Angeles Union Station to Seattle, Washington, and Metrolink's Ventura County Line from Los Angeles Union Station to East Ventura. Ten Pacific Surfliner trains serve the station daily and 20 Metrolink trains serve the station each weekday.

San Fernando Valley

The San Fernando Valley (locally known as "The Valley") is an urbanized valley located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area of southern California, United States, defined by the mountains of the Transverse Ranges circling it. Home to 1.76 million people, it lies north of the larger and more populous Los Angeles Basin. Nearly two thirds of the Valley's land area is part of the City of Los Angeles.

Arleta, Los Angeles

Arleta is a district in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, California. It was considered part of Pacoima until the late 1960s, when real estate agents and developers, seeking to be disassociated from the then declining Pacoima home sales prices, "seceded" and formed what appeared to be a new community. The area retained its original ZIP code of 91331, the same as Pacoima.
