The Van Nuys Amtrak/Metrolink Station is an Amtrak and Metrolink rail station in the community of Van Nuys in Los Angeles, California. The station is served by Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, Amtrak's Coast Starlight from Los Angeles Union Station to Seattle, Washington, and Metrolink's Ventura County Line from Los Angeles Union Station to East Ventura. Ten Pacific Surfliner trains serve the station daily and 20 Metrolink trains serve the station each weekday.

Arleta, Los Angeles

Arleta is a district in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, California. It was considered part of Pacoima until the late 1960s, when real estate agents and developers, seeking to be disassociated from the then declining Pacoima home sales prices, "seceded" and formed what appeared to be a new community. The area retained its original ZIP code of 91331, the same as Pacoima.

Grant High School (Los Angeles)

Ulysses S. Grant High School is a secondary school in the Valley Glen neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, in the east-central San Fernando Valley. It is located adjacent to Los Angeles Valley College. It is part of District 2 of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school serves several areas, including Valley Glen, much of Sherman Oaks, and sections of Van Nuys. Its mascot is the Lancer and the school colors are brown, orange, and white.
