Moro Rock

Moro Rock is a granite dome rock formation in Sequoia National Park, California, USA. It is located in the center of the park, at the head of Moro Creek, between Giant Forest and Crescent Meadow. A stairway, designed by the National Park Service and built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, is cut into and poured onto the rock, so that visitors can hike to the top. The view from the rock encompasses much of the Park, including the Great Western Divide.

Washington (tree)

The Washington tree is a giant sequoia located in the Giant Forest Grove in Tulare County, California, within Sequoia National Park. It is named after George Washington, first President of the United States. The Washington tree was the second largest tree in the world (only the General Sherman tree was larger) until its partial collapse in January 2005.

Giant Forest

The Giant Forest, famed for its giant sequoia trees, is within Sequoia National Park. This montane forest, situated at over 6,000 feet above mean sea level in the western Sierra Nevada of California, covers an area of 1,880 acres . The Giant Forest is the most accessible of all giant sequoia groves, as it has over 40 miles of hiking trails. Five of the ten most massive trees on the planet are located within the Giant Forest.

Crystal Cave (Sequoia National Park)

Crystal Cave is a marble karst cave in Sequoia National Park, in the U.S. state of California. It is one of at least 240 known caves in the park. It is in the Giant Forest region, between the Ash Mountain entrance of the park and Giant Forest. The cave is a constant 48 °F, and only accessible by guided tour.
