Earthbound Farm is an American farm located near San Juan Bautista, California. It is America's largest grower of organic produce. It was also the first company to produce prewashed, packaged salad greens on an industrial scale. Earthbound Farm was founded in 1984 by Drew and Myra Goodman, on a 2.5 acres farm in California’s Carmel Valley. After 25 years, the company now employs 150 farmers on 30,000 acres .

Rancho Llano de Tesquisquita

Rancho Llano de Tesquisquita was a 16,016-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Benito County and Santa Clara County, California given in 1835 by Governor José Castro to José María Sanchez. The name means "flats of Tesquisquita". The grant extended between the Pajaro River and Tesquisquita Slough, south of present day Gilroy.

Rancho Los Vergeles

Rancho Los Vergeles was a 8,760-acre Mexican land grant in present day Monterey County and San Benito County, California given in 1835 by Governor José Castro to José Joaquín Gómez. The name means "flower garden". Rancho La Natividad and Rancho Los Vergeles were adjoining ranchos, north of present day Salinas. The rancho headquarters of each were close to the entrance to the pass through the Gabilan Range to San Juan Bautista.

Rancho Juristac

Rancho Juristac was a 4,540-acre Mexican land grant in present day Santa Clara County, California given in 1835 by Governor José Castro to Antonio and Faustino German. The rancho (also called "La Brea") was once noted for its liquid petroleum deposits. Rancho Juristac, five miles south of Gilroy, is the southern most rancho in Santa Clara County, and encompasses Sargent.
