Cheshire High School

Cheshire High School is located on Route 10 (South Main Street) across from Bartlem Park in Cheshire, Connecticut. It is 15 miles (24 km) north of New Haven and 25 miles south of Hartford. It is the town's sole public high school.

Cheshire Academy

Cheshire Academy is a selective, co-educational college preparatory school located in Cheshire, Connecticut, USA. Founded in 1794 as the Episcopal Academy of Connecticut, it was the tenth private school founded in the United States. In 1917, the school was renamed The Roxbury School, and trained young men exclusively for the purpose of attending nearby Yale University.

Burt Kahn Court

Burt Kahn Court is a 2,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Hamden, Connecticut. It was the home of the Quinnipiac University Bobcats basketball team from 1969-2006. The Bobcats held a 254-184 record while playing at the facility. It is the current home of Bobcats volleyball. The facility was renovated in 2002, with new scoreboards and a new wood surface being added. The Court is named after Burt Kahn, a former basketball coach and athletic director at Quinnipiac.

Mill River (Connecticut)

Not to be confused with the Mill River (Fairfield, Connecticut) or the Rippowam River in Stamford, Connecticut The Mill River is a river in the U.S. state of Connecticut. The river starts in the town of Cheshire, flows through Hamden and New Haven, and discharges into New Haven Harbor on Long Island Sound. The river's length is 17.4 miles . The river is dammed in southern Hamden to form Lake Whitney, which is operated as a reservoir by the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority.
