Silvermine, Connecticut
Silvermine is a neighborhood in Fairfield County, Connecticut extending into three southwestern Connecticut municipalities -- Norwalk, New Canaan and Wilton. The name "Silvermine" comes from old legends of a silver mine in the area, although no silver has ever been found. Silvermine was long an art colony and remains the home of the Silvermine Guild Arts Center. The Silvermine Tavern, an inn occupying several historic buildings, also remains in the neighborhood.

Merritt 7 (Metro-North station)
The Merritt 7 Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of the northern part of Norwalk, Connecticut via the Danbury Branch of the New Haven Line. Merritt 7 is named for a nearby business park based at the intersection of the Merritt Parkway and United States Route 7. The station is the only regular stop in the Metro-North system outside of the Waterbury Branch, the Pascack Valley Line, and the Port Jervis Line to have a low-level platform.

Richard C. Briggs High School
Richard C. Briggs High School is a secondary school located in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. It opened in 1938 as a replacement for the Winnipauk School. Later it was turned into the secondary level Center for Vocational Arts but is now named after Dr. Richard C. Briggs, who was superintendent of Norwalk schools from 1971 to 1980.
