The Coweta County School System (CCSS) is the primary education system in Coweta County, Georgia, USA. Its headquarters are an antebellum building on Jackson Street at Sprayberry Road in Newnan, Georgia. Coweta County is the 9th fastest growing county in Georgia and the 26th fastest in the country. The CCSS has grown from 9,210 students in 1984 to over 22,000 students in 2007.

Newnan Times-Herald

The Newnan Times-Herald, locally known as The Times-Herald, is a newspaper published in Newnan, Georgia. It was founded in 1866, which makes it the oldest news organization in Newnan and Coweta County, Georgia. It is a local newspaper and official legal organ for the community located about 30 miles south of Atlanta. Evans Middle School (Newnan, Georgia)

Evans Middle School (formerly O.P. Evans Jr. High School), was founded as the first junior high school in Coweta County, Georgia and was built in 1973.
