Blue Hole Falls

Blue Hole Falls located on High Shoals Creek in the High Shoals Scenic Area of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Towns County, Georgia, USA. The falls can be accessed via the High Shoals Trail, a well-maintained 1.2 mile trail to the larger High Shoals Creek Falls downstream. The trailhead is accessed via Indian Grave Gap Road (Forest Service Road 283), a gravel road located about 11.5 miles north of Helen, GA on GA Highway 17/75.

Double Spring Knob

Double Spring Knob, with an elevation of 4,280 feet, is tied with Coosa Bald as the tenth-highest peak in Georgia, USA. It is located in two Georgia counties - Rabun and Towns. It is located within the boundaries of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The Appalachian Trail passes below the knob to the east. This mountain is also known as Kelly Knob.

Macedonia is an unincorporated community along Georgia Highway 20 in eastern Cherokee County, Georgia, United States approximately 6 miles east of the county seat, Canton, Georgia. The center of Macedonia is approximately 45 miles north of Atlanta via I-75/I-575, or 35 miles via GA 400. Straight-line distance indicates mileage of 31 miles from the center of downtown Atlanta.

Towns County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was created on March 6, 1856. As of the 2010 census, the population was 10,471. Its county seat is Hiawassee.

Tray Mountain

Tray Mountain, with an elevation of 4,430 ft is the seventh-highest peak in Georgia. The boundary line between White and Towns counties bisects the mountain, but leaves the summit in Towns County. Habersham County lies on a lower part of the mountain, but not on the summit. Tray Mountain is within the borders of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is part of the Tray Mountain Wilderness.
