Mableton, Georgia

Mableton is a census-designated place in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 37,115. When Brookhaven becomes a city in December 2012, Mableton will be the largest unincorporated community in Metro Atlanta. It was named for Robert Mable, who in 1843 bought 300 acres (about 120 hectares or 1.2 km²) of land on September 11.

Georgia Cyclone

The Georgia Cyclone is a wooden roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta, Georgia. Opened in 1990, it is a mirror image of the legendary Coney Island Cyclone. Ten feet higher than the Cyclone, it stands at 95 feet and has a track length of 2,970 feet and a top speed of 50 miles per hour . The Cyclone is known as a "stand-up" wooden roller coaster by roller coaster enthusiasts due to several extreme moments of negative g-forces.

Georgia Scorcher

Georgia Scorcher (or simply Scorcher) is a Stand-up roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. The second design from Bolliger & Mabillard to be built at the park, Georgia Scorcher opened in May 1999 as the last new stand-up roller coaster to have been constructed anywhere on Earth. Georgia Scorcher is 107 feet (33 m) tall and has a track length of 3000 feet (910 m) and a top speed of 54 mph (87 km/h). The attraction's tagline is "Put your feet to the fire."

Dahlonega Mine Train

The Dahlonega Mine Train is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, 12 miles west of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The ride has three lift hills with brief elements between each that wind through a wooded, hilly landscape. This is a family coaster that is named after Dahlonega, Georgia, a village in northern Georgia that was a center of the gold rush of 1828, the first gold rush in the United States of America.
