Samuel Parker (Hawaii)

Samuel Parker, known as Kamuela Parker or sometimes Samuel Keaoililani Parker (1853–1920) was a major landowner and businessman on the island of Hawaii, heir to the Parker Ranch estate. He became involved in politics at a critical time of the Kingdom of Hawaii, serving in its last cabinet.

Waimea, Hawaii County, Hawaii

Waimea is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hawaiʻi County, Hawaiʻi, United States. The population was 7,028 at the 2000 census. Since each U.S. state cannot have more than one post office of the same name and there are many 'Waimeas' on the islands of Hawaiʻi, the official US Post Office name for Waimea is Kamuela. Waimea is the largest town in the interior of the Big Island, and is the center for ranching activities and paniolo culture.

Ahualoa, Hawaii

Āhualoa is an unincorporated rural area along the Hamakua Coast on the Island of Hawaiʻi, Hawaiʻi County, Hawaii, United States. The name is believed to mean either "long mound" or "long cloud", in the Hawaiian language. The latter is easily understood from the extremely high rainfall and cloud cover that is typical of the area.
