Cadiz, Kentucky

Cadiz (Regionally pronounced as "kay-DEES") is a city in Trigg County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 2,373 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Trigg County. It is an old town located close to the Land Between the Lakes, a popular recreation area, and was a base of Union and Confederate operations in the American Civil War. Cadiz is part of the Clarksville, TN–KY Metropolitan Statistical Area, and is located in a wet county as of September 2009.

Lake Barkley State Resort Park is a park located on the eastern shore of Lake Barkley just west of Cadiz, Kentucky in Trigg County. The park encompasses 3,600 acres, and is one of three Kentucky parks located on Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000-acre (690 km²) isthmus between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

Cerulean is an unincorporated community in Trigg County, Kentucky, United States. At one time, it was a city, incorporated as Cerulean Springs. It lies along Kentucky Routes 124 and 126 northeast of the city of Cadiz, the county seat of Trigg County. Trigg County, Kentucky

Trigg County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of 2000, the population was 12,597. Its county seat is Cadiz. It was formed in 1820 and named for Stephen Trigg, a frontier officer in the American Revolutionary War who died in the Battle of Blue Licks.
