Evergreen is a town in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 314 at the 2000 census. Evergreen is located east of Bunkie. The Western singer, songwriter, and actor Rudy Robbins was born in Evergreen in 1933. Also, Lionel Aldridge (February 14, 1941 – February 12, 1998) who played American football professionally as a defensive end in the National Football League on the historic Green Bay Packers teams of the sixties.
