Shepard State Park

Shepard State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is located off U.S. Highway 90 at Gautier, west of Pascagoula. Gautier, Mississippi

Gautier is a city in Jackson County, Mississippi, along the Gulf of Mexico west of Pascagoula. It is part of the Pascagoula, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 18,572 at the 2010 census. In 2002, Gautier annexed land nearly doubling its population to 18,413, according to the Gautier Comprehensive Plan 2030. Locally, the name is pronounced as "GO-chay. " Descendants of the Gautier family, for whom it was named, still live in the area.

Pascagoula River High Rise Bridge

The Pascagoula River High Rise Bridge is a bridge in the US state of Mississippi which carries U.S. Route 90 over the East Branch of the Pascagoula River between Gautier and Pascagoula. The bridge opened on June 23, 2003 as a replacement for 4-lane drawbridge.
