Ray County is a county located in Northwest Missouri in the United States. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the county had a population of 23,494. Its county seat is Richmond. The county was organized November 16, 1820 and named for John Ray, a Missouri state legislator and member of the first state Constitutional Convention. Ray County is part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

Hiram Page

Hiram Page (1800 – August 12, 1852) was an early member of the Latter Day Saint movement and one of the Eight Witnesses to the Book of Mormon's Golden Plates. Page was born in Vermont. Earlier in his life, he studied medicine which he practiced during his travels throughout New York and Canada. On November 10, 1825, Page married Catherine Whitmer, daughter of Peter Whitmer, Sr. and Mary Musselman.
