Wild Island

Wild Island is a water park located off I-80 in the city of Sparks, Nevada. The park is the only one in the vicinity of the double city and has catered to the locals and Reno Tourists for many years. The once named Wild Waters now Wild Island Family Adventure Park is a waterpark and a family entertainment center that includes bowling, laser mazes, black light mini golf, and a raceway.

Sparks (Amtrak station)

The Sparks Amtrak station is formerly a train station in Sparks, Nevada, United States once served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. In May 2009, the station was closed because of its proximity to Reno, NV. Safety issues also played a part, as the former station was in a freight yard and what appears to be the station building is actually a Union Pacific yard office.
