Sparks (Amtrak station)
The Sparks Amtrak station is formerly a train station in Sparks, Nevada, United States once served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. In May 2009, the station was closed because of its proximity to Reno, NV. Safety issues also played a part, as the former station was in a freight yard and what appears to be the station building is actually a Union Pacific yard office.

John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort
John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort is a casino resort/hotel in Sparks, Nevada. The main portion of the casino consists of two 29-story towers nestled between Interstate 80 and the Union Pacific rail yard.
