Shadow Creek Golf Course
Shadow Creek is an 18-hole golf course in North Las Vegas, Nevada, designed by Tom Fazio and built by Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn in 1989. Built from empty desert flatland on a 350-acre site, it cost a reported sixty million dollars. During construction, over three million cubic yards of dirt was dug up from the desert floor and pushed around the perimeter, creating a berm that blocked any view from the outside.

Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital
The Mike O'Callaghan Federal Medical Center (MOFMC), a military hospital, is located on Nellis Air Force Base and is run by the 99th Medical Group (MDG). Members of the 99th MDG run the 104-bed medical treatment facility in a joint venture project with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Air Force provides executive oversight of the facility, staffs all outpatient activities and manages 47 of the beds for Department of Defense (DoD) beneficiaries.
