Weymouth Township is a township in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 2,715. Weymouth Township was formed by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 12, 1798, from portions of Egg Harbor Township, while the area was still part of Gloucester County, and was incorporated nine days later. Portions of the township were taken on February 5, 1813, to create Hamilton Township.
