Second Broad River

The Second Broad River is a tributary of the Broad River in western North Carolina in the United States. Via the Broad and Congaree rivers, it is part of the watershed of the Santee River, which flows to the Atlantic Ocean. The Second Broad River rises in south-central McDowell County about 5 miles southwest of Marion, and flows generally southeastwardly through Rutherford County, passing to the east of the town of Forest City.

Ernest W. Spangler Stadium

Ernest W. Spangler Stadium is a 8,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. It is home to the Gardner-Webb University Bulldogs football team. The facility opened in 1969. Spangler Stadium underwent a 7 million dollar overhaul in 2005 that included additions of a new Football Center that houses football coaches offices, athletic weight facilities, president's box, press box, and other luxury boxes.
