Davidson College Arboretum

Davidson College Arboretum (100 acres) is an arboretum located across the main campus of Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. It is open to the public daily without charge. The arboretum's origins stretch as far back as 1869 when a Report of the Faculty to the trustees recommended making the campus "represent in time the forest growth of the State, and if possible, the general botany of the region". The campus became a formal arboretum in 1982.

Davidson College

Davidson College is a private liberal arts college in Davidson, North Carolina. The college has graduated 23 Rhodes Scholars. In the past decade, Davidson has consistently been ranked in the top ten best liberal arts colleges in the country by U.S. News and World Report magazine. In 2012, Davidson was ranked the 3rd most rigorous school in the United States by Newsweek. Richardson Stadium is a 6,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Davidson, North Carolina. It is home to the Davidson College Wildcats football and track and field teams. The stadium incorporates both Stephen B. Smith Field and Irwin Belk Track. It has also hosted the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship on three occasions from 1992-1994.

John M. Belk Arena

John M. Belk Arena is a 5,223-seat multi-purpose arena, located on the campus of Davidson College, in Davidson, North Carolina, United States. It is named for Davidson alumnus and benafactor John M. Belk (1920–2007), class of 1943. As part of the Baker Sports Complex, it is home to the Davidson Wildcats men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team. Bob Dylan performed at the arena during his 2006 North American Tour on May 2, 2006.
