Salem Sue
Salem Sue (or The World's Largest Holstein Cow) is a large fiberglass Holstein cow sculpture located in New Salem, North Dakota. Salem Sue was built in 1974 for $40,000. The project was sponsored by the New Salem Lions Club in honor of the local dairy farming industry. The statue stands 38 feet high and is 50 feet long. It sits on School Hill near Interstate 94 off exit 127 S and can be viewed for several miles. A road leads up to the base of Sue.

Morton County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2010 census, the population was 27,471. Its county seat is Mandan. Morton County and Burleigh County, North Dakota make up the "Bismarck, ND, Metropolitan Statistical Area" or "Bismarck-Mandan". The county was created by the 1872-1873 territorial legislature and named for Oliver Hazard Perry Throck Morton (1823-1877), governor of Indiana during the American Civil War and later a United States Senator.

KNDH is a planned radio station serving the Dickinson, North Dakota area. It will be broadcasting on FM frequency 93.5 MHz and is under ownership of MidNation Media. The unbuilt construction permit was held by Alma Corporation, who sold the station to MidNation Media for $25,000, outbidding Randy Michaels’ Radioactive LLC by $2,000 in the 2006 FCC auction. Now, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) says that its selling the construction permit to MidNation for $60,000.
